Return and Exchange Policy
At TiPSY the atelier, each press-on nail set is handcrafted and made to order. Due to the hygienic nature of press-on nails, we operate a limited returns and exchanges policy as outlined below.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Returns & Exchanges for Faulty or Incorrect Items
We accept returns or exchanges only if the item received is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us at info@tipsytheatelier.com within 7 days of receiving your order, providing clear photos and a description of the problem. Once reviewed and approved, we will offer a replacement or refund, as appropriate.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Made-to-order or personalised press-on nail sets
- Items that have been opened, worn, or used
- Orders where an incorrect size was selected by the customer
- Change-of-mind returns
These exclusions are necessary to maintain strict hygiene standards and because each set is individually created for the customer.
Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved due to a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, return shipping costs will be covered by us or reimbursed.
For all other approved cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a refund or replacement in accordance with UK law.
